Olathe is home for us and where Good News Towing got its start. Most days, our trucks start right here before heading out to help customers throughout Johnson County. Whether you're stuck at home, in a parking lot, at a repair shop, or along the road, we provide towing and roadside help throughout Olathe.
Lenexa is easy for us to reach from our home base in Olathe using K-7 and I-435, so many of our calls here involve drivers who have broken down while traveling through the area. Lenexa City Center and other parts of the city also have parking garages where towing can require smaller equipment. Our wrecker is about 6 feet 8 inches tall, which allows us to enter many garages that larger flatbeds may not be able to access. If your vehicle is inside a garage, let us know the posted clearance when you call so we can determine whether our truck can safely get in.
Overland Park covers a large stretch of Johnson County, from neighborhoods north of 75th Street all the way into the far southern part of the city near the Stilwell area. With US-69 running through it and I-435 crossing the area, many of our calls here come from commuters and travelers who run into trouble while passing through. We serve that entire stretch of Overland Park, including the southern Blue Valley area, and we’ve also had the opportunity to tow vehicles for the Blue Valley School District.
Shawnee stretches across a wide part of northern Johnson County, and Shawnee Mission Parkway runs east to west through the heart of the city. With direct connections to K-7 and I-435, it gives us practical access to customers throughout Shawnee, whether they live in the area or run into trouble while traveling through. We serve the full city of Shawnee, from its eastern neighborhoods to the western side near K-7.
De Soto sits along K-10, giving us a convenient route into the city from the Olathe area. It is also a community that has been changing quickly, especially with the growth surrounding the Panasonic Energy battery facility and other development near the highway. We serve De Soto for both local residents and people traveling into or through the area for work, providing towing and roadside help throughout the city.
Gardner is easy for us to reach from Olathe using I-35, while US-56 runs through the heart of the city as Main Street. We also serve the nearby New Century area, including the AirCenter and surrounding business park just off I-35. That makes Gardner and New Century a regular part of our southern Johnson County coverage for local residents, employees, and drivers traveling through the area.
Edgerton has a strong small-town identity in southwest Johnson County, and we’re proud to include it as part of the area we regularly serve. We provide towing and roadside help throughout Edgerton and the surrounding rural roads, with convenient access from US-56 and I-35. Whether you live in town, work nearby, or run into trouble while traveling through the area, Edgerton is well within our normal service area.
Spring Hill sits directly south of Olathe, making it a straightforward area for us to reach from our home base. The city has grown significantly in recent years, with new residential development continuing to spread through the area. We provide towing and roadside help throughout Spring Hill, from its growing neighborhoods to the more rural roads and properties surrounding the city. Whether you live there or are simply traveling through, Spring Hill is a regular part of the southern area we serve.
Leawood sits along the Kansas-Missouri state line and stretches north to south through eastern Johnson County. I-435 gives us a direct route across the county into the area, making Leawood a normal part of the territory we serve. We provide towing and roadside help throughout the city, from its northern neighborhoods to the southern parts of Leawood along State Line Road.
Prairie Village is made up largely of established neighborhoods connected by local routes like 75th Street, Mission Road, Roe Avenue, and Nall Avenue. Even without a major interstate running through the city, we regularly provide towing and roadside help throughout Prairie Village and nearby Mission Hills. Its connected street network gives us several practical ways into the area, making it a normal part of our service coverage.
Mission sits in northeast Johnson County with Johnson Drive running through the heart of the city. Shawnee Mission Parkway and Metcalf Avenue also provide convenient connections through this part of the Kansas City metro. Merriam has a busy automotive corridor with numerous dealerships and repair businesses along and near I-35. With I-35 and I-635 providing quick access through the area, we regularly help customers who need a vehicle moved to or from a dealership, repair shop, or somewhere along the interstate. Roeland Park sits in northeast Johnson County just minutes from downtown Kansas City and the Country Club Plaza. Its location near Mission, Fairway, and the Kansas City line keeps it closely connected to the surrounding metro. Fairway is a compact residential community in northeast Johnson County, known locally as the City of Trees. Shawnee Mission Parkway and Mission Road connect the city to the surrounding Kansas City metro, making it straightforward for us to reach. Westwood sits at the far northeast corner of Johnson County, directly bordering Kansas City, Missouri to the east and Kansas City, Kansas to the north.
